Why should I sell generative prints on Bohét?

We care about the quality and the authenticity of your creations:

  1. Highest quality of printing on Hahnemühle paper, which brings to life vivid colours and longevity to your artworks.
  2. Your algorithms are stored in the cloud, so no one can forge them or use them for printing other or similar versions of your creations.
  3. The images we serve in the web store are fit only for web preview. The high quality rendering happens in the cloud, which is then used only for printing.
  4. Once one generation is printed, it is destroyed from the cloud to never be printed again.
  5. We certify your work with a uniquely generated Certificate of Authenticity, and your collectors can prove legally that they own one of your prints.

How does the Artist onboarding process look like?

After submitting the application above, we will review it within 5-8 business days. We will then follow up with some feedback or questions and in case of a successful application, we will ask you to provide the algorithm and sign the contract with us (which will be available soon on the website). We then do the onboarding of the artworks, quality checks, and artist's profile creation.

Is there a platform I can use to update my Artist profile details and products?

Currently no, we are working on it and we kindly ask you to forward any update you might want to make to any of your details. We will follow up in a timely manner and apply the requested changes.

Who owns the artwork after it is uploaded to Bohét?

The artist is still the sole owner of the algorithm and the artworks' editions that are not sold yet, which means, upon the artist's request we should:

  • Update price
  • Update details
  • Burn the remaining Editions
  • Delete the artwork entirely from the platform if it doesn't have any sales
  • Archive the artwork if it has at least 1 sale

Once an artwork is published we can't update the number of editions per size since that would impact the value delivered to the customer.

What does Bohét own?

We own the right to trade on the artists behalf and certify the authenticity of the artwork's edition.

What is the fee for each sale made in Bohét?

We keep 15% of the NET price, after deducting the print costs. Shipping is paid by the customer.

E.g.: If an artwork is sold for 150€ and the production costs are 50€, then we keep 15% of the 100€ (NET price: 150€ - 50€ = 100€), which in total amounts to 15€ fees.

Note: We will publish the print prices in the next few days for several standard sizes.

Is there any other extra fees for artists who join Bohét?

No, artists don't pay any other fee besides the 15% of the NET price for each sale they make.

What kind of prints do we offer?

Currently, we offer only Hahnemühle Pearl Photo Rag. Our focus is to offer high-quality Fine Art Prints. We print and ship only from Germany, therefore shipping costs for non-EU countries might be a bit higher.

How many free samples can I get as an Artist on Bohét?

There is a free sample for each Artist who joins Bohét.
